More About Ari

Over the past few years, I built what looked like success on the outside. I interned for TEDx, became Indiana University’s first woman Marine Biology graduate, attended Tony Robbins Business Mastery, and grew a successful YouTube advertising business. I partnered with big brands like Kajabi, moved to Southern California, launched a social enterprise, and gave back to others in ways I once only imagined.

But internally, I always knew there was a part of my story I wasn’t sharing and that the work I was doing wasn’t fully aligned with why I started this path in the first place.

Before any of those successes, I silently navigated ongoing sexual abuse and adversity for the first 18 years of my life. That didn’t erase any of the love, opportunity, and effort that still existed. But my nervous system became so overwhelmed trying to survive and make sense of everything, and I reached a point where I no longer wanted to be here.

Long before I had language for trauma or healing, I relied heavily on creativity, courage, and curiosity to give me a sense of purpose and fulfillment. I would build, draw, read, ask questions, and do whatever I could to understand what I couldn’t yet explain.

What changed wasn’t my circumstances, but rather my willingness to take responsibility for what shaped me and to use it, rather than let it use me. That decision became the foundation for everything I’ve built since: my university degree, business, platform, and my work meant to serve others, not just myself.

Now, I’m intentionally stepping back from a large portion of my for-profit business to write the From Ashes We Rise book and to build and lead the Creators For Change free community. These resources are for survivors and leaders who’ve lived through adversity or witnessed injustice and are choosing to actually create something meaningful because of it.

If you’re here in 2026, it means you’re part of this next chapter. Supporting this work — whether through the book, the community, or sharing it forward — helps protect the time and focus required to do it with depth and integrity.
